9/19/2023 0 Comments Little theatre![]() Russell LeWars mentioned that the KSAC had purchased land in order to put in a bypass road and that some land would be available and could be used by the Library and the Little Theatre Movement. It was not until 1957 at a meeting of the Kingston and St. We were not informed of your family illnesses in your original correspondence but we do hope that your party is feeling better now and that you would like to visit us again in the future. The whole idea of the LTM began in 1941 with the Pantomime and other LTM productions in various Kingston locations including the Ward Theatre and the Rainbow Theatre at Half-Way-Tree. We do hope that you feel compelled to remove your rating and hope that those now reading this review understand that your rating is not representative of the quality of our Theatre or our productions. It is disappointing that you feel you have to rate our much loved theatre only 1* because you booked tickets that you no longer required. Before you click Pay NowĪfter you were advised that tickets were non-refundable, and you wanted to discuss further you were asked to contact after the new year due to our volunteer box office staff not being present. You also have to tick that you have ‘read and accept the terms of contract’. Tickets may not be exchanged, refunded and are not transferable.’ ‘You are about to buy X tickets (seats X - X) for the DATE & TIME performance of Dick Whittington at a cost of £XX (including £1.00 booking fee). Once you have selected your required seats you then see the following: You then have to click continue to move from this page before even selecting a performance date or seats. On the first booking screen it clearly states: ‘Please note, tickets may not be exchanged, refunded and are not transferable’. Please review the screen shots we have already sent you to show this. My review is just to make others aware of there zero tolerance policy. We won't be going back to this theatre.Īs per our previous email correspondence to your partner, our terms and conditions are clearly stated throughout the booking process. A few of us may have gone to the pantomine or we could have given then to other family members or friends instead of just losing them. If we had been told when we first contacted the office that there is no refunds, instead of being told to contact the office on Thursday 2nd January after the show had then played. This information would be nice to know before actually purchasing the tickets or a prompt asking you to read terms and conditions prior to purchasing. My partner contacted the office today to be told once you have bought the tickets that is it.Apparently it's on the Web site some where. My partner kept phoning and eventually got through to then be told to contact the theatre office again on Thursday 2nd January. The show was only half sold out. With just 2 days to go. My partner with in 30 minutes of booking the tickets then tried to phone and cancel and also sent a email confirming this request. Unfortunately then said they had 3 members sick and never felt upto attending. My partner contacted her family to say tickets have been booked for the pantomine. The tickets were booked for Tuesday 31st december. We never had the opportunity to attend the pantomine. On Sunday 29th December, my partner purchased the tickets for ourselves and family coming to stay for the new year. Also needs more good productions and musicals like when they had les miserables. And they need to learn to say sorry and be polite if they cant help. ![]() Needs cheaper tickets you can get refunded maybe they can deduct 10 percent for refunding it. Needs radical reform this theatre getting too much like main theatre not amateur and the cast dont get paid!! Needs no swearing no adult refrences especially in panto. Some areas also better for hearing loop than others l row seems best for it apparently. ![]() Also theres definate dead zones for the sound where its very quiet and some areas very loud. And on right the spotlights and strobes etc seem to settle on front around row d i had bright lights in my eyes ages was crazy. At front left of theatre very loud air con. Theatre also too hot wouldnt like heating bill. Tickets also getting dear on production of white christmas it was £18 per ticket!! Panto not fun anymore has adult references not as good for kids and the birthday bit and the song everyone sings takes up most of second act which is crazy should be 5 mins not 25 mins. Also its impossible to cancel tickets if ill or funeral. But last 2 years been a disaster in particular last 12 months swearing in productions bad references. Been going for last 20 years we have seen loads of stuff.
